Healthwatch Manchester is a not-for-profit, independent organisation here to champion the opinions and voices of local people that use health and social care services in Manchester. We are here to give people a powerful voice to influence and improve services across Manchester by engaging with those who plan, run and regulate services.

Ambassador Volunteer: Represent Healthwatch Manchester at a range of forums, groups and other influential bodies and provide information exchange between Healthwatch Manchester and these bodies.

Communications Volunteer: Help to develop, improve and maintain communication with the people of Manchester.

Research Volunteer: To undertake research into local health and social care services.

Enter & View Volunteer: To enter health and social care premises and observe the nature and quality of services.

Community Champions: To work with local community groups and peer support groups to identify issues faced by different communities when accessing health or care services in Manchester.

All Healthwatch Manchester Volunteers will have regular supervision.

Debriefing & Certificates:

We can provide references/certificates if the volunteer completes at least 30 hours.
